H2 Outdoor Living is a luxury outdoor living design company based in Middle-Tennessee. We specialize in pool design and landscape design, alongside offering services in hardscape, mechanical/construction drawings, and the conceptual design of all outdoor spaces.
Areas We Serve
H2 Outdoor Living is situated in Charlotte, TN, within the Middle-Tennessee area. While a significant portion of our design work is local to Tennessee, we are more than willing to travel anywhere in the world to enhance our customers' luxury outdoor living spaces. Since much of the design process can be conducted remotely, our team of designers is fully equipped to manage out-of-state and international projects, including those involving pool design.
Meet The Owners
Hunter Gary | Co-Owner & Director of Design and Creative
A lifelong Tennessee native, Hunter Gary is Co-Owner and Director of Design and Creative at H2 Outdoor Living in Charlotte, TN, where he combines technical mastery with a distinct creative vision to design luxury aquatic and outdoor living spaces for clients across the nation and internationally. His connection to water began in childhood at the edge of Norfork Lake in Arkansas, and by high school that passion had found its direction through formal education in drafting and design — a foundation he has spent his career building upon.
Hunter is a certified Master Pool Builder and Design Professional with the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance, serves as Vice President of the PHTA Nashville Chapter, and is an active member of Watershape University — credentials that reflect both his expertise and his commitment to industry leadership. In his own words: "Water is inherently one of the most powerful, dangerous, and potentially devastating elements we may encounter in our lifetime. We get the chance to take that, tame it, turn it into art through pool design, and use it for our own good… THAT is the best part of what I get to do every day."
Heather Gary | Co-Owner & Director of Operations & Marketing
A proud Middle Tennessee native and MTSU graduate, Heather Gary brings a rare combination of creative vision and operational precision to her role as Co-Owner and Director of Operations & Marketing at H2 Outdoor Living. Her background in communications and art education, laid the foundation for a career built on purposeful storytelling, thoughtful design, and meaningful client relationships.
Heather is an active member of the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance and a dedicated participant in the Women of Water initiative, two communities that reflect her commitment to elevating industry standards and championing women making their mark in the outdoor living space. Inspired by the natural beauty of Tennessee’s lakes, mountains, and gardens, Heather brings a deep appreciation for intentional design and sense of place to every project. As a wife and (soon to be) mother, she understands what it means to invest in the spaces where families gather and memories are made — and that understanding shapes every decision she makes on behalf of H2 Outdoor Living's clients.
